Who handles your information?
New Forest Device Repairs, 5A New Street, Lymington, Hampshire, SO41 9BH operates PS5 HDMI Repair. For privacy requests, email ps5hdmirepair@gmail.com.
Information for your repair
We collect your name, email, return address, console model, payment choice and, if supplied, phone number. We store booking and repair status, shipping references, the terms agreed to and your early-start request. This allows us to perform your contract, arrange delivery, send service updates and keep required accounting records.
Payments and service providers
Stripe handles card details in its hosted checkout; we store payment references and amounts, not full card numbers. Supabase stores booking data and NFD repair records. Resend sends booking and repair emails. Hostinger hosts the site. An approved courier or collection provider receives the contact and shipping information needed to deliver your console. Some providers process data internationally under their applicable transfer safeguards and data-processing terms.
Security and tracking links
Your repair link is private. Anyone you share it with can see its limited repair status and payment summary, so keep it private. Links expire after 180 days; contact us if you need a replacement. Customer addresses, email and internal workshop notes are not shown on the tracking page. We use short-lived, hashed network identifiers to help limit abuse.
Retention and your rights
Payment and invoice records are normally retained for six years for tax and accounting obligations. Repair records are retained while required for your service, warranty or a dispute, and reviewed afterwards. Unpaid bookings are removed after 30 days unless needed to resolve an issue. You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability where applicable, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Optional analytics
Analytics runs in restricted mode until you accept cookies — no cookies or identifiers are stored before then; accepting enables full measurement. It helps us understand page use and booking starts, checkout starts and completed bookings. Private repair-link pages do not run analytics. We do not send your name, email, address or tracking link to analytics. You can change your choice through Cookie settings in the footer. Rejecting optional cookies does not affect your booking.
Essential browser storage
Your cookie choice is saved on your device. Your booking details are saved in this browser session so you can return from payment without entering them again. The checkout provider uses its own necessary security technology. We do not require a customer account and do not automatically add you to a marketing list.
